Re: For Tim, special-K
Now I have to find away to put flames through them! Maybe some kind of lights.
I think the LED lights glowing will be good enough!

Cool stacks! The look is one thing for giving a big rig look. But the sound coming out "up there" will be the coolest difference you'll notice. You'll be huntin' chrome mudflap girls next!

Re: For Tim, special-K
Don't know about the girly mud flaps but I'm really liking the exhaust stacks. I'm suppose to be heading to the beach this afternoon, but I'm wanting to get them mounted. Oh well I guess I'll do it in a few weeks from now.

Why couldn't he park me next to that little pink Mack over there? Gosh, she's got pretty mud flaps. And talk about stacked - why, they're both chrome!

I guess you need to make brackets off the headache rack? I can't wait to see then hear them.
For now, how about a sample to get an idea? Nope, won't sound like this: Hey! Look what I found:

Re: For Tim, special-K
I went by the exhaust shop this morning. $130.00 to run the exhaust to the stacks. Going to use 2" pipe going into the 4" stack about 2'. I thought was very good price. He said bring it over Friday!
I bought 2-4" clamps and cut the old ones off. I clamped it to the headache bar it ant going no place. I had to cut 2-1/4" holes on each corner of the bed. The second picture is looking up through it to the top of the stack!

Re: For Tim, special-K
So, do you have a drain hole at the bottom to let the rain water run out?

Haven't gotten them yet, going Friday but yes a 1/4" weep hole will be in the bottom of them per the exhaust guy.

Re: For Tim, special-K
I got the stacks hooked up this morning. Took almost 2 hrs. He did a great job. They sound awesome I think. Now to decide if I want flames are not! I also did some paint work on the bed of it. Got both sides done. Now to get the disc brakes swapped into it.
