193 heads on 86 block. Manifold help
decided to take off the TBI and go to carb on the engine. I know the 193s are junk for power. Just looking to get on the road. I’m having trouble finding numbers on a manifold that will bolt on without modifications. Also I need to get rid of all the emission bull on the block. Anybody have any manifold #s or advise. Thanks!

Re: 193 heads on 86 block. Manifold help
What year are the 193? Get an intake for an 86-95 with center bolt valve covers. You could use any intake, but the center 2 holes need to be oblonged, kinda backyard'n but it works.

Re: 193 heads on 86 block. Manifold help
The 193s are from 1987. I found a manifold that specifically fits (hopefully). I don’t want to spend to much money but if it’s easier then why not. What else do I have to block off or add for the swap?
