Custom Grill Pics

Does anyone have a picture of anything different from stock that they have done to their chevy or GMC trucks? I have a 72 c10 and since I just hit a deer and have to replace the grill inner and outer I was thinking of different options that i might have to make my truck look a little better.

If anyone has any pics or websites please post. Thanks.

Re: Custom Grill Pics

I think the third one is a one off old school custom. It may be a commercial one for old school customizers that has been adapted.I haven't seen any others anyway.

3rd one looks like a late 70's Jeep Cherokee frontend; 4th looks just plain ugly.

Re: Custom Grill Pics

Does anyone have a billett grille insert, I was thinking of putting in one of these grilles, maybe the 4mm? Any pics of these grilles on your truck to see different trucks would be nice.

I know no one really likes LMC's panels but are their grilles any good?

This was mine before I sold it to Tcal. Had to rig up some clips to mount the bowtie.

It looks like it is a cross of Dodge, Ford on the front end of a fine Vintage Chevy.

From what I have seen, the guys are cutting the inside cross bar area out and fabricating Billit bars as a replacement. It maintains the GMC look that way with a more modern look. No one makes anything to change or modify a GMC grill as far as I know. I have also seen people make a modification like lattice work to go behind the grill to add to the existing look.

I just took some heavy gauge metal strap that was punched with holes and bent it to make two clips for the emblem. They fit from the backside of the grill and provided a mounting surface flush w. the face. Painted them black so they blended in.

Hard to explain the shape w/o pics but it was kinda like the shape of drywall hat channel if you know what that looks like. I think I still have them on my workbench but the 'craftsmanship' isn't good enough for me to post pics

I tried to throw it together before i went to work. That's why the line is somewhat uneven and discolored.
