1972 GMC Jimmy Ashtray Mount (left side)

Hi All,

Looking for the left side of the mount that has a curved guide that helps secure the ashtray. Apparently mine is missing and I did not realize until I went to put it back in after painting... I can't reweld another mount in so that's not an option and mine is definitely welded in places but the guides apparently only held in place by small rivets… So if anyone has that one piece, I would really appreciate it.. see pic

Re: 1972 GMC Jimmy Ashtray Mount (left side)

I have two longhorns sitting here that have the same setup. Not sure why they spot welded the brackets in. If you look off to the outside of the brackets I believe the mounting holes are there for a normal one to screw in. Makes me think they ran out of screws on Friday afternoon and just spotted them in instead

I have this complete setup if interested per your message earlier. $40 shipped

Before you decide on that let me take a quick look in the search. I seem to recall a thread, about a year ago, that said someone was selling just the new plastic guides. Let me see if I can find it
