700r4 trans cooler lines.
Transmission cooler line question...
I am running a 700r4 and am preparing to run the lines to the radiator cooler...I am going to run -6an lines...I am needing the fittings for the radiator...I have a 3 core aluminum with the trans cooler built into the bottom...1/2-20 is the best i can guess on the trans cooler ports on the bottom of the radiator...would anyone know if they are a straight thread or a taper thread? Im guessing straight thread as they are very shallow, or are they inverter flare? I just need fittings to go from a -6an line to the radiator...struggling... |

Re: 700r4 trans cooler lines.
Suggest you check the manufacturers site for details of the cooler line ports sizes and threads...
These are usually a tapered seat port with straight threads....there are AN nipples available, just check the manufacturers website for sizes etc....

Best answer is from the radiator manufacturer.
