Blueprint 383 + Pro Flow 4
I'm looking to get the Blueprint 383 stroker long block BP38313CT1 and add an Edelbrock Pro Flow 4 EFI system. Neither company will comment on which EFI model will be compatible with each other. All I have to go by is that the Blueprint heads are "most similar to cast iron vortec heads" and that the headers should be for vortec style heads, but nothing about the intake manifold.
This sounds like the Edelbrock intake should be mated with vortec style heads, but if like to be sure. Any thoughts and comments are welcomed |

Re: Blueprint 383 + Pro Flow 4
My curiosity got the best of me
I found this asking around, everyone that I know that runs some sort of efi all recommended the pro flo kit, but not model specific. I found this on the intra web. https://www.edelbrock.com/edelbrock-...ads-35780.html Hopefully it helps, I went the opposite way an went with a carb on for my vortec heads

Re: Blueprint 383 + Pro Flow 4
According to Blueprint's website, those heads will accept either the older style intake or the Vortec style intake manifold. It's up to you what you want to use. I have a Blueprint 400 smallblock and have the PF4 system. I am using the older style intake manifold. You might to go over to the Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 forum and doing some looking around over there. It might help you with your decision

Re: Blueprint 383 + Pro Flow 4
Either it has 4 bolts per side of intake or it has 6. That's all you need to know. If like is said above you have both sets of bolt holes, run whatever intake you want.
As for headers, vortec and standard are the exact same thing. They never changed exhaust bolt patters or port locations.

Re: Blueprint 383 + Pro Flow 4
wait for the pro flo 4 systems to be back in stock unless you have it or a line on one .
dont do a sniper unit . and as said 4 bolts per side = vortec 96-00-03 sbc heads and 6 bolts per side is 95-older with tbi/tpi heads pattern or old std pattern . vortec heads flow best over std sbc heads . 64cc chambers for little more comp ratio .
