Repo Blazer Tank Review
Tank quality seems to be decent excluding the following:
This advertised DIRECT REPLACEMENT has a short straight filler neck. This is very nearly impossible to use as the body mount is directly in the way. I was able to finagle a 1 1/2 radiator hose that was pre-bent and I got lucky. Keep in mind stock size is 1 3/8 so the 1 1/2 gave a little more flexibility in a tight spot. I just tightened it really good and there are no leaks. I will edit this post later and post the part number from NAPA and everyone can use this part. I will try to post pics this weekend as well of the finished product and comparison pictures. Tank straps. I find the straps to be quite a joke. The length and shape of the replacement strap is not even close. It will work it it is all you have but if you have original straps, definately use them. No padding is provided for the straps as well. I used a Mountain Bike tube and cut it in half. Works very well. My overall review is, Yes it's better than a used rusty tank but the filler needs to be fixed.
