just sent my original am/fm off for conversion...

I sent it to Gary Tayman at Tayman Electrical to convert it to modern internals, iPod/XM/whatever inputs, subwoofer outputs, 180 watts total (i know, it's not actually 180w.) should have it back in about 3 or 4 weeks, so we'll see.
