please help decipher this engine block # - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Can someone with a book tell me what engine I have? Someone just gave me a Camaro with a good (??) V-8. I am pretty sure it is a 305, but what year? I don't think it was original to the car. These are the numbers I can read on the block. First in small numbers: 05U190340
then in larger numbers: /0721TJJ
Hope that is all the numbers since that is all I can make out. Do these make sense?
