I found someone to restore my truck,pull engine and do the front end work and everything(Ground Off). He's a friend of a friend and my friend says he's very honest,and the gentleman says he'll have to charge me by the hour because he doesn't want to loose money,but doesn't know how long it will take,but It would cost around $5-$6,000 and doesn't know how long it will take,but would be a while,which is fine because it's not my primary vehicle.He's doing one write now and it is gorgeous.Whats everyones advice?How do I get an estimate if he's telling me this.I don't want to give him the job and then when it's finished He gives me a bill for $10,000 Thank you everyone.
