1999 Blazer 4wd Problems

I have a 1999 Blazer with the auto 4wd transfer case. Of course during this last snow storm the 4wd unit decided it would be more fun to have me slip-slide my way home. The indicator lights on the dash light imtermittently and no matter what mode or range the light indicates, the 4wd isn't working. The fuse is good and now the lights don't light up at all. I pulled the kick panel cover and the pin connector seems to have some corrosion on it. I'm going to try cleaning the connector pins and then try the 4wd. If anyone has any other suggestions, feel free to respond. Your input would be greatly appreciated. The actuator under the battery works and there are no vacuum leaks. I'm leaning towards a bad tccm but I don't like to change parts without knowing the TCCM is the absolute cause for my 4wd not engaging.
Thanks and have a great holiday season!
