But the guy with the badge n gun makin your day doesn't.
I won't touch a vehicle without a title and matchin VIN, you can't even crush them in MO anymore without a title.

Another point to consider. When your truck comes up missing ,because some scumbag with a "pile of VIN plates" wants a new cab, you will understand why it is illegal to take them off vehicles.
