Talking 1966 K20 - Time to bring it back !

My 4x4 build is actually a REbuild. The truck was purchased new by my father in 1966. I pulled it out of the barn in 1987 with 42,000 miles on it. I proceeded to learn about body work on it, paint it, and ultimately take it to college. I have painted it twice, each time doing a little more. At is current state, she has power steering, disc brakes, np 205, dana 44 and a ZZ3 power plant. After shelling the rear diff due to BEER, I was lucky enough to come across a 3rd member with a FACTORY locker. The salvage yard didn't seem to care much about it and I got it for $150 !! I have so many great memories with this truck. My first experience behind the wheel of a vehicle with nonone else in the cab was in this truck while my father dropped hay bales off to the cattle. I had it in storage for about 8 years until last winter.. it now sits in my home garage -- so no more "outta sight, outta mind" crap is going to happen. She needs ALOT of help now, but I can't wait to get her back on the road..

Here are some pics of my '66 in severeal phases of its life..
