Painted my head

I just painted the head to my 250 inline six and I was wondering if I should remove the paint where the head bolt heads contact the cylinder head? Will it cause any problems if I leave it on? I was thinking of just going back and retorking the bolts after I run it a little, bit I don't want to chance it.
