Custom remote control, HO scale

I bought a cheap small remote control truck a few weeks ago thinking I'd just swap bodies and have a cool little mud truck. It wasn't that easy. The scale was a bit off, so the hot wheels body was too long. So I had to grind out some on the inner, cut the bed off the cab, shorten the bed, glue those back together, cut off some plastic from the donor r/c truck, etc, but it works, and looks very cool.

This is one I sat the roll bar on. You guys think it's an improvement or should I toss it? Just need to shorten it a bit and a couple dabs of superglue.

And it does work.
