I have a Hobart Handler 125 wire feed, and a Lincoln 220 stick welder. We used the wire feed for the frame, got great penetration, and the stick for the fishplate. Yea, I dont want a dually. I would look super sweet, though.

That would over extend the shackles. With weight on the springs the shackles should be close to vertical.
I believe the 52 and 56" measurements are with weight on them.
So the 53" springs might, once there is weight on them, extend out close to 56"

just my thoughts on it
I'm sure that if you talk to whoever you got them from, they can enlighten us all

I think the 'burb tank is over 40 gallons
I was wondering if it would fit, I have heard it will. I haven't measured yet though.
I hadn't thought about the loaded length, you might be right. The 40 plus sounds right on the tank. It will fit, but it will be over the pumpkin. Probably not a problem since I am going up with it. Definitely wouldnt work on a dropped rig.
