The "Yellow car" 1970 Olds Rallye 350

Here is my '70 cutlass rallye 350.. When I was 13 or so I started bussing tables at a Catfish restaurant and started saving money for a truck when I turned 16. I wound up getting to drive a hand-me-down 94 nissan hardbody truck and spent my saved money on this car plus two plane tickets.
I met a local man who retired from olds and who has the greatest wealth of automobile knowledge of anyone I have ever met, and he turned me from wanting a 69 camaro to loving oldsmobiles as much as he did..
Back to the story, I bought my father and myself a one way flight from dfw to Raliegh NC for july 2nd 2002. I had never flown and couldn't get insurance on it so we loaded up and headed out, this was probably one of the best times we have ever had together..
Well the car had 44k on the clock (original and verified), and hadn't seen rain since the 70's until the trip home. It was a totally stock, original, and unmolested car aside from being repainted factory colors in 1982.
Well with me being 16 and having a bright yellow muscle car you can imagine how it got driven, kinda funny thinking back at some of the racing memories and how I hot-rodded the crap outta it.
So with 55k on it and driving it back and forth to my first semester of college the original engine took a dump and it was time to build something with a little more pep. I did some research and found a 403, I had it bored 0.030 balanced blueprinted with all the goodies. My main goal with it was to look totally stock but run a hole in the wind and still be a totally streetable car. I also pulled the original trans and got another th350 and had it beefed up hith heavy duty internals.
I ran the car like this for awhile then the original olds rearend let go, so I bought a chevelle 12 bolt and stuffed it with an eaton posi and 373 gears. I upgraded to tubular control arms, and had stockton wheel in ca make these wheels (went from a solid yellow 14x7 to a yellow and chrome 15x7's and 15x8's)
This is still the setup I have in the car now and its still doing good, I have a few plans for it for later on like upgrading to 31 spline axles, replacing the headliner and redoing the front seat foam, and hiding a top shot nos kit on it. here are some pics of it
