Plastic Model Truck of 1978 Silverado
I want to find a plastic model truck (like Revell or Monogram) to modify and paint like my truck...
All I am finding is the 50's or the 90's models... It doesn't have to be a 1978 Silverado, but I want the 73-78 "L" bodystyle with round headlights. I know I saw one of these in wal-mart YEARS ago, but I cannot find it on the internet now. (My Google powers are failing me!) I wonder how hard it would be to make these plastic body panels myself? Would there be a demand to ressurect these model years for guys like us who want to see what a build could look like? Maybe there is a business opportunity for me here? Sell models which can show how 4-links go into place, air-bags, etc...?! Thoughts?
