Re: just joined

We pulled the front axle yesterday and tore it down. MAN THIS THING GOT HOT. The fluid had the consistancy of cottage cheese and smelled real bad. It needs all the bearings and roller bearings replaced. BUT after adding up what it would cost to rebearing it, its not worth it. SO we counted the teeth and its got 3:42 gears. The same as my wrecked tahoe. So we are just going to pull the front out of my wrecked tahoe and stick in his truck. Should be simple. Here are some pics along the way.
