Back Into Chevy Trucks!

Hello, you gear-heads. I just got a '70 Chevy a few weeks ago; traded my '70 Firebird for it. The truck owner wanted it in the worst way, so we traded titles after he threw in a new complete OEM grill in excellent shape.

I got the better deal--the paint is really good with no evidence of bondo or old damage, rebuilt 350, new TH400, new interior. There's enough minor odds and ends to do that will keep me busy, like replacing the twin Flowmaster mufflers--can't hear myself think, much less the radio!

It isn't something I would have gone out looking for: I wanted to sell the Firebird for another car of some sort. I planned on "flipping" the truck right away, but the longer I have it the more I like it--before the internet existed I had a '67 that my dad bought new, a '71, a '72 Cheyenne, and now this.

The cab is mated to a newer step side box, which I'm growing to like--the body lines match up pretty well.

I'll be around, asking stupid questions...
