Header clearance problems.

Yesterday my clutch in my truck bit the dust.I decided to go ahead and swap the motor why I was at it.

So the old motor and trans came out.The new motor was assembled. And we started to put it back togother.Well I forgot to put the oil pump driveshaft in.Also I had messed the clutch up.So my buddy came over that works at a chevy dealership and he helped me get it straightened out.So we put the motor back in for the 2nd time.We got my new hedman headers bolted on.

Anyway we got to the clutch linkage. There is a little socket that bolts to the side of the block.(right above the oil filter)That the rod that goes from the frame rail to the block. Then another rod goes off that and pushes on the fork.Anyway the header tube is right in the way.I ordered the headers for a 69 c-10 with a 350 and a 3 speed trans. The guy at summit even made sure.I am pretty sure they are the right one's.

Any help would be so awesome.I want my baby alive again!
