Gotta have a C-10... Help - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I've been around a few of these trucks (my dad has a 72 3500 work truck). I want a c-10 71 or 72 that is in decent shape. I realize it's the same age as me so it's not going to be perfect for sure. I've not had any luck finding anything here in Virginia so I turned to ebay and other sources like hemmings.

My budget for a truck to get started with is around 5 grand. I plan to restore and make it a nice driver. What should I look for when purchasing? I've got time and a great area to work on it so I'm ready to jump in...

UPDATE!! Pictures posted on page two... The search is over and now the fun really starts.
