Air Conditioning Question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm converting my 69 Longhorn to an air cab and have seen the alternator mounted on the driver's side - were there any V-8 models with the alt on the Pass side? I'm using 327 heads without tapped holes for mounts. I have the pass side mounts for the alt, but am wondering if they will work?? Thanks in advance to the experts
