This is my first new thread to a Forum.

It's been mine for years. Finally coming home to be worked on.

I don't know if I can do a build thread yet but do have a couple build questions. Has anyone ever done a 8 lug independent front suspension on one of these?

Or even a lowered straight axle with air bags, disk brakes and/or power steering?

I think I have an idea for suspension/brakes for the eaton rear end. The offroad guys have been doing a lot with these.

Also which auto o.d. trans. fits the best with minimal modification keeping the inline 6?

If anyone could help point me in the right direction it would be a great help.
