How I secure my tanks...

I came across these pictures while I was looking for something else, so I thought I'd share.

1st, I got a couple pieces of uni-strut and lagged them to the wall studs

Then I got some strut clamps. These are available for all diameters of pipe at any plumbing supply house. Of course, some tweeking was needed to get them just right.

I wouldn't have had to do that if I had gone to the supply house and bought the right size. Instead, I brought the plumber at work a couple of donuts and he gave me these, and they were all four the same size and I really needed 2 a couple inches smaller. Oh well.

Moving on-now just clamp your tanks securely to the wall

Looking at that picture of the clamps-I got that wrong. I got 2 different sizes but needed both the same. At any rate, just get the diameter of your tank and get the closest size of clamp.
