hey Dan, tank is aluminum I got from PerformanceOnLine, bolted right in (after I slightly straightened/squared tail end of frame) no crossmember to remove.....
wheels are stock, cleaned and painted with rustoleum rattle can :sunrise red I think it was; rather gawdy but going for that hot rod look I guess..........killer bullet lug nuts. Was thinking of one of those red sparlkdy steering wheels?...maybe not..........but yea, bring the outside in.

I'm not real happy with the low gloss black (long story, backyard job, yada yada)
Adjusted the valves yesterday..........motor runs good.
Best part of the whole deal is this forum and the fact that I have done all the work myself (except for machining block).
What's new with that beauty of yours?
