Putting Out A Heads Up...Part 2

Got some pics of the truck today. It is a '71 GMC Custom...I thought it was a Sierra Grande..oh well anyway I looked over the entire truck and there is no cancer anywhere! Cab corners, rockers, floors, inner-bottom fenders, core support...all of the usual spots that go first.... all solid as a rock. Just the usual surface rust. The front grille is missing as is the front bumper but the headlight buckets are still in there. Side body trim pieces are gone. Door handles missing. Very few small dings and dents in the entire truck! This has never been wrecked. Has a front sway bar. Dana rear is complete. The cab is an A/C low-hump. Chrome vent windows, all glass perfect. Bed is straight and solid (no toolbox like I first thought) solid and straight steel bottom but no tailgate though. Still has a Firestone "Wide Oval" tire in the spare carrier! Gas tank is still in place. No steering column but still has the original cig. lighter! Doors are straight and solid but has 5 1/4" speakers in them. Seat is there but in need of repair (foam and upholstery is shot but the frame is solid and the tracks are operable. Has black seat belts and retractors (no shoulder harnesses). Overall it is a very solid candidate for a project for sure. The big block and TH-400 and the disc brake components will be removed but the rest goes out in a complete package. Those of you who PM'ed me in order have first dibs. Make me a reasonable offer. Southwestern rust-free A/C cabs are getting scarce. I must admit I was very pleased with the condition of this truck. I wish that it was available when I was re-dooing mine! Sure would have saved a bundle of time from the rust repair and panel-beating I had to endure!! This is a great find. My brother-in-law and I have been trying to get this truck from 'ol Jimmy for years and now that he is ready to unload it we both have trucks of our own ..oh well, our loss is some lucky Chevy enthusuasts gain!
I can e-mail pics but I will have to compress the s**t out of them so they will fly across the modem line. There are many shots.
Thanx all!!
