69 chevy k30 cummins conversion

Hey guys, I have been working on this swap in my brain for a few years now, finally got started actually working a few weeks ago. I had built a 69 chevy out of pure Frankenstein style, extra parts laying around. Everyone just calls it the Johnny Cash truck. I had originally built this truck as a k30 dually with a 350 and a 4 speed. always brought it to the Carlisle truck nationals. Had a vendors spot last year so pulling the trailer down 81. The 350 hated every minute of that 3 hour ride 5 mpg and ran hot pulling the trailer. So I've been mean to start this build for a while now, that was my good excuse. Got a 97 dodge 215 pump cummins as a donor, unfortunately an auto but was the right price. i had a 2wd nv4500 laying around so naturally if its free its for me. Started on my build, seen everyone had troubles finding pre built motor mounts for our trucks so why not make my own. I used 1st gen rubber motor mounts, i also seen that all the pre built kits were for lifted trucks, mine is not lifted and having a dana60 up front really proved to be difficult to built around that bulky thing. So i fabbed up a motor mount cross member that bolts to the frame drops down and goes in front of the axle seems like it will work ok, i used 1/4 wall 2x3 rectangular tubing so i should have the strength. im hoping to get some pics uploaded tonight, Ive been reading other threads getting ideas for my own, i also used the stock chevy 4wd trans crossmember for my nv45 just had to make the holes a little bit bigger and move the mount back afew inches. I plan on running a divorced tcase down the line but i just want to get out with it this summer so it will be 2wd temporarily. i hope to get some pics up shortly and get some input from everyone, especially those who have a swap under their belts!
