Coil & Ballast Resistor - Change the original 6-volt coil to a 12-volt type - use part # FS-770. A ballast resistor is now required between the coil and the distributor. This will insure that only 6 volts reach the ignition points or they will burn prematurely. Ballast resistor is part # FS-1008.
Looks like you are actually making the change to 12 volts. As you probably know, the 6 volt generator will no longer work. Also, be sure to change out the radio and all of the bulbs to 12 volt bulbs. Otherwise they will burn up. There might be other stuff (in addition to the starter and coil that you already changed) that is 6 volt. That's all that comes to mind right now, but then again, I never owned a 6-volt car. Maybe someone else can chime in here.

Good Luck!
