Fuel delivery issues

I am having problems with either, bad fuel pump or vapor lock problems. When the truck is cold it will handle full throttle through first gear shift to second halfway through second gear I run out of fuel. When the truck is hot, normal running temperature,and I accelerate a few seconds later, whether it's light acceleration or heavy acceleration I run out of fuel.I installed a new fuel pump with the rebuilt engine in June and have had this problem ever since. The fuel filter was dry when it died earlier this evening, but as the truck cooled off it filled up
