How do you remove the wire from the heater/AC controls?
71 Chevy:
If you have A/C your duct has two cables, one for the "inside air" and the other the A/C. The end of the wire for the cable wraps around the whatchamacallit on the lever (what is that called anyway?). My primary question is, how do you remove this wire from this whatchamacallit? My first thought was to just unwrap it, but it's a little tough and I don't want to break anything. The little cap on this may pop off, maybe it's crimped on or just can't be removed at all. Here's a picture of the part. Thank you
