72 K5 496 Transmission?

I have a 72 K5 that was originally a sb 350, but that wasn't quite enough fun for me. So I bought a stock 454 and swapped it but kept the 350t (just a little beefed up) And now the 454 isn't enough for me. So I tore it out and bored it out and built myself a mild 496 stroker. But now I need to put it back in, and I know the 350t is not a good idea for a transmission... What do ya'll think would be a good option instead?
