Hood alignment issues - help

Hello all. My 58 Apache is in the body shop finishing up at the restoration and the fellow working on it is having a hard time with the hood. New hinges and new springs have been installed. He tells me The hood sits high in the back near the windshield but sits pretty well in the front on the grill panel. He seems to be making a big deal of this. I seem to recall a post sometime ago where someone discussed how to manage this when installing and getting proper hood fitment. does anybody have any suggestions? The hood seem to fit well without springs and just the hinges attached but now that he attach the springs the alignment seems off. Thank you in advance
