garysgill Registered User Join Date: May 2006 Location: texas Posts: 9	VIN number starts with 3 letters I have a 72 chevy c10. I just bought it and when I went to get insurance the online quote did recognize the VIN. I started doing some research and everything I found said that the VIN should have 2 letters and then numbers, etc. My VIN starts with CCE. Is this typical?
