Dachshund Registered User Join Date: Oct 2018 Location: Trenton MO Posts: 201	Another Rear Axle Question.... So....I am trying to put the axle shafts back in the housing...The "gaskets" on the flanges (where the axle bolts to the hub) are made out of soft metal. Do the new ones need to be metal, or can they be gasket material?
