Best way to add Power Windows/Locks to non-power C30?
I have started the build of my latest project, my 83 C30 Crew Cab dually Big Brown Turd and since I will be redoing the interior including the messed up door panels, I would like to add power windows, possibly to all four doors but at a minimum to the two front doors. Only doing the front doors does sound silly at first, but I have a lifted F350 daily driver and hardly ever roll down the rear door windows.
Anyways, what would be the best approach: A) Scrounge up factory style Power Window regulators and motors such as these: Window Regulator Driver Side For Power Windows Chevrolet C10 1982-1987 B) Go all custom rodder style such as the ones that Brothers sells C) And do the non-power window trucks have the unused wiring in the factory loom minus the door wiring?
