Re: TA_C10: Stage 1

Update - Custom Gas Filler Venting

I ended up welding a 1/2" SS NPT fitting on my filler cap. 1/2" hose will connect to tank vent. This way my vent is sealed in case of a rollover. Still have my rollover vent too venting to atmosphere for heat expansion/etc.

Still need to clean up the welds but you get the idea. Gas pump nozzle will go past my vent in cap so it should vent properly eliminating slow fills and burps. I should be able to finish install this weekend, waiting on one last part for tubing/hose.

Far right is 1/2" vent line.

Middle is the Filler hose.

Far left is my rollover vent hose. This probably doesn't need to be ran all the way up to filler, I will most likely shorten this hose and mount to bed rail. Also need to switch this to fuel line instead of vacuum line.

FYI: mock-up stage.

Using 21 Gallon 67-72 Burb Tank.
