LS Engine BUILDER help, King main bearings, 2 different numbers

OK, engine BUILDERS help me out. I am an old school engine builder, and had not touched an LS based engine to this point. My 6.0 shortblock, which is already done, has the King MB5293-SI bearings in it according to my receipt. The engine is a 6.0 Out of a 2005 heavy van, the engine was CAST in August of 2004 meaning it would be the right engine for a 2005 vehicle, BUT 2004- 2005 is separation years for what the recommended bearings are and I never trust anything that is in a changeover year. If I look up the 6.0 it says to use the King MB5013XP bearings. I downloaded right from the king site the specs on BOTH of those bearings and all that I am seeing different is the one set has a .002 max wall thickness. I just want to make sure that because those numbers I gavea re complete sets that the chamfer for crank radius or the thrust face hasn’t changed from one set to the next. The simplest change can bite you quick. The engine turns fine, but that’s just one piece of the puzzle. I also checked the crankshaft number and it is a ‘216’ crank, but I saw two versions of that! ALSO, should I check rod bearings, like were any differences there also?
BTW- I got my ‘be careful’ info of all the differences from an older ‘ENGINE BUILDER’magazine on-line.
thanx, Crossy
