Brakes on a 12 Bolt Rear Axle
Does anyone know what this spring is called and where I can buy one? It didnt come with my brake hardware kit, and I cant seem to find it for sale anywhere. Mine is missing on the passenger side
Also, does the spring cup (circled, yellow) pass through only the hole in the adjuster plate? Or should it fit through the hole in the shoe also? I installed new shoes and springs, but the yellow spring is basically bottomed out and cannot move. Seems like if the spring cup fit through the drum, the spring would be less compressed. Also now the adjuster plate is able to flop side to side and I dont think it will actually press on the star wheel (it will instead deflect side to side). Not sure if that is related, or if I did something wrong I think I put everything back how it was, but the side to side motion of that adjuster plate seems wrong, and the one on the other side is not able to move like that. Let me know if you see anything wrong...
