I got the complete relay kit from BTO here: http://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/cata...SUBCAT&CATID=O and used their instructions. It never called for jumping wires like that, but had wires and connectors all premade.

I'm not so concerned about TCC lockup right now as I am getting my speed and tach set right. Once I get the bigger concerned nailed down then I'll spend more time on this lockup problem...

JimPA - 99% sure when I put it in the truck it has an 8cyl on the back, because that's when I noticed the calibration hole. Someone said in an earlier post that this read high with age, if that's the case can't you recalibrate instead of replacing it?
