sweet 50th annv truck there. Is the original seat under the seat cover, or was it swapped out?

Re: 68 lwb Patina Hot rod
How far did you have to move the rear axle to align it in the wheel well? I noticed my swb stepside looks like the wheel is not centered. Must have been a design flaw!
BTW....Fixing the front of your box is very esay with a "come-along" and a custom "u" bracket...you can borrow mine...5 minute job...LOL! What did you use for paint on your passenger side fender for the touch-up?

Re: 68 lwb Patina Hot rod
Hey Bob,
Nice truck. It looks like you are in my neck of the woods. I bought a lot of parts from a guy in Newton a while back. Go here and add your info..... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...highlight=iowa LockDoc (Leon)

Re: 68 lwb Patina Hot rod
Built it my self started with a leaf spring rear from a gmc flipped the rear end on top of the springs. Front end is a combo of cut springs and lowered spring pockets in lower controll arms . Too poor to buy that expensive stuff so I built my own. Rides and drives pretty good since I built it in my garage !!!
