I run carter street pumps that put out 5-9psi I believe. I ran a holley deadhead regulator for a couple years then converted it to return style and fabbed up a return line. Helps keep the pump cooler which I needed in 110* phoenix summers. I set the pressure at about 5.5-6psi for the edelbrocks and 7-9psi for holleys.
