I have put a 700r4 in a 4x4 and it is no big deal.

leave the t-case in it's current location. by doing this you don't have to touch the drive line lengths and you don't have to cut a new hole in your hump for the t-case!

All you need to do is move your engine forward 1.5 inches, modify your autoshift linkage and add wiring for lock up torque converter. NO problema and the modification makes driving the truck a dream! I have the fact 3.73 gears and am running 32" tires and am really happy. Oh yeah one other thing that you might have to deal with is the exhaust hangers. mine had to be changed slightly due to moving the engine forward.
