I used the Tahoe core-support and used parts of the 72 support for the fenders. I didn't like the way it turned out so I'm going to redo it and just use a 1972 core-support

that gap would have been considered excellent by GM standards. If the gap is even the whole way down (or as close as you can get it), and the body lines line up, you just have to call it done. If you got every gap on these trucks perfect you would spend a solid month just on the panel allignment.
