I have only bid on one truck (didn't win), but I find BAT entertaining and they seem to bring decent money to their auctions.

Re: Do you guys follow Bring a Trailer ?
I'm late to the party but I never heard of a Ford half ton 4x4 from the early 1970s that had a 2-speed transfer case. Maybe the "two speeds" were 2wd and 4wd ???
And it's weird because I remember when those 69-72 Blazers were just ho-hum 15-20 year old trucks (well, remember when they were brand new, too ).

Re: Do you guys follow Bring a Trailer ?
Well, I can remember in 1971 Ford half ton did not have low range in transfer case, but the low gear in four speed got around pretty well. It was probably about as low as first and low range in my K1500 (like my 1976 2wd).
Maybe there was an optional two speed transfer case, but it was a pretty big deal back then and Chevy definitely made a better 4x4 half ton plus they had disc brakes. Of course the F-250 4wd had low range.

Re: Do you guys follow Bring a Trailer ?
I'll be watching this closely, I had a 1971, my first car. I'm dreaming though, for 5-6 reasons, one being a guy is committed to buying it, at least that's what he wrote. That and I can't imagine the cost to ship from Canada, though option to visit Seattle again. That and if you think parts are hard to find for your car/truck. Last one I saw was maybe 25 years ago, off the HWY in someone's junk yard. In other terms, something comes up like his oil pan leak, I'd need to take my useless mechanical skills the next level. I don't suppose you can even find gaskets.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1973-mazda-rx-2-4/ Might be meant to be, I only entered the search a week ago, looks like they've sold just 2-3 past. Judging by the HIGH PRICE tags at BAT, this runs at least 30K guessing, before costs, which is another reason I shouldn't. A lot of these ended up in Australia. Only had mine three months before I turned it upside down. Push started everywherebad alternator. Two distributors, all kinds of crazy. Mine would do 145. Perhaps more, but at that point the odometer is buried. Anyway, I started a Go-Fund Me @ReallyShouldn't.com (kidding) EDIT: "Reallyshouldn't" contacted the owner, and straight up too good to be true, so to speak. It's never been painted, per owner structure is "10 of 10", runs like a top and cold start is "good". I suspect 32K is original. I don't believe the suspension is however. Straight up I know little about these. Near everything I see serves memory however. Then there's tax right, near I can tell so far Canadian tax can run approx. 20%, so just fees/tax and cost to get it home would be 7Kish. I'm out. 12K & five days to go. It will finish too close to 30 or even 40 against my wallet. It was only a pipedream anyway

Check out how the t-case is mounted in pic #65. Not attached to the frame rail and the x-member has spacers between it an the frame.

I shouldn't be so cynical. Left front brake line is chaffing on the frame and steering stabilizer is attached through the tie rod, instead of by a bracket clamped to the tie rod. Rear differential vent tube is laying on the exhaust pipe. I personally would have put the wood grain door panels in it. At first glance, I was ready to bid.
