The vent windows look great. I'll be interested to see if they fit as good as they look.

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

Wow those look awesome!!!! Did they have good reviews? I wonder about the quality of the rubber as everything I have that is repopped with rubber cracks apart in less than a year even when not in the sun. Keep us posted on the fit and finish. Can't wait until its done.

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

Looks great.....FYI on the engine mounts, I'm running the same ones with the matching trans mount and I was experiencing more than normal engine/drivetrain vibrations. Researching this I found its not all that uncommon, so I pulled the trans mount out and it was a vast improvement....debating doing the engine mounts next....This is turning out to be an impressive build....can't wait to see it driving. Have a safe Holiday

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

Thanks Joe, your the best.
On the trans cooler I'm going to run hard tubing instead of rubber hose. I'm using swagelok where I can and flare nuts & ferrules at the cooler.

You will love it, have one of the original ones, works fantastic, can’t remember how many engines I have done with it. Once I put in a iron block 555” big block chevy with a tko600 on it, clutch and all in one chunk...in a 70 vette
