I gave up on image hosting sites. I didn't see a point in it any more when you can upload the pics from your PC directly to the post you are making to share them. You can't make comments between the pictures when you go that route but no biggie really.

Re: Drppdblazrs sfbd 79 k5

Too bad for this thread to die out because of the pain of uploading pictures. Is that fixed yet? It's gotta be possible straight from cell phone now, right? I'm new on here and haven't loaded any pix that weren't already on my laptop.

Whatever the case, thoroughly enjoyed seeing the fabrication and process. And I'm the type that's pretty committed to just having my tires touch the ground. Good job Drppd. Your thinking and skills were fun to watch in this build.

WOW Nice work, just found this and need to go back and vist the first part of the build. I've always wanted a lowered Blazer to go with my Sq Stepper.

Ok let's see if I can upload any current pics of the blazer. Ended up buying another blazer and switching bodies out. Hope you all enjoy the new pics.

Well the couple reasons really, 1st reason was that I didn't like how the shaved drop rails looked when the door was closed. 2nd was that there was rust in areas I didn't want to mess with. 3rd is that I really wanted a body that already had all the trim, 4th this new body has power everything

That looks great. What are your plans for the paint? Clear-coat the patina, paint job, or leave it?

Keeping the patina for now, eventually I'd like to do the. Odywork and paint it but I'm a LONG way from that. Like years so I'll probably clear they patina for now.

Re: Drppdblazrs sfbd 79 k5

So I am having this issue, When I hit the brakes both turn signal lights on dash light up as well as the front blinker lights on my grill, the actual brake lights work as well. Do you guys see this as a ground issue or what. I thought I had all my grounds, grounded and all that but ill check again. Could this be another issue maybe? Blinker switch is completely busted up in steering column so im going to replace that this weekend. Maybe the brake switch itself?? any ideas would be helpful, im not to much of a wiring guy...Thanks in advance

Re: Drppdblazrs sfbd 79 k5

IIRC the brake light and the hazards are on the same circuit, so I would change the turn signal switch and go from there.

Re: Drppdblazrs sfbd 79 k5

I like the seat covers, and the exhaust looks good. Did you buy the seat covers as a kit? If so, do you mind saying where? That's a recover of stock type seats, right? Thanks in advance for the info.

Yea I did buy the seat upholstery as a kit. I wanted the stock look for now until I can afford to pay someone to make me some seats with plaid inserts.

website I got the kit from is www.carandtruckupholstery.com
