Re: 1972 GMC Sierra Grande part out...complete truck!

Perhaps it would have been better not to have shown pictures of your new parts truck in this thread. Things may get very confusing . . . .

Next Monday I will get this 72 GMC parted! And go in order of interest!
So which gmc did you mean?? You said this with the pictures of the new parts truck.

Just a suggestion, but you should remove those pics of your new parts truck from this thread and wait until you finish parting the original truck on this thread before delving into the new parts truck. Start a new thread for the new truck when this one is done.

My $.02.

Re: 1972 GMC Sierra Grande part out...complete truck!

Your $.02 well taken...you are correct...did not want to, or mean to, cause confusion...back to the truck at hand...and parting will be at a furious pace this Monday the 27th

pics removed

Re: 1972 GMC Sierra Grande part out...complete truck!

I chimed in first on the kickdown wiring. Could you take a look on the tranny and see if it is a 1 or 2 pole switch under the little rubber cup that goes over the switch on the turbo400? If 2 , I would take the whole set up if you need to keep it together. Thanks
