I took the one remaining off my truck in 1997. Found a pair on EBay but can’t find what the part number is. Not easy to find them in the Chevy or GMC parts books.

Personally I think you nailed it, though if you ever look for them, they're "bushings". If true, I didn't know they came black. Have some on order, and day now, it's been weeks.

Here you go......Another member sent me right to them. I found some NOS somewhat recently, in Brazil Part number is almost meaningless, but it's 3829512
