getting the conversion right 2wd
Hey fellow owners I am in the process of converting the frontend converted to 2wd and I was hoping to get any well needed advice on getting it right from measuring to the best way to ensure that I dont screw this up. any suggestions on drilling the frame? I remember one of our members that have done a few conversions if your out there I could use your advice. I pulled the supension from the 72 lwb truck so it's the same year. Thanks for any input

I've converted 3 blazers and 2 trucks to 2 wheel drve if you have any questions just ask I'll be more than happy to help out

Hey oilyrag80 Iam doing the same thing that blessthess is doing I Have a question I heard that some holes line up and then you just need to drill out the rest. do you happen to know which one thanks

Hey Chap I believe it is the motor mounts on the frame rail (top of the rail) I am gonna cut off all the old 4wd brackets today and line everything up and measure off the old frame that I cut off to make sure.

Yes one hole comes close to linning up but dont rely on that. if you have another frame to measure thats the best way. I think it is the lower rear motor mount crossmember bolt that comes close to linning up. I am going to post a couple pics of my latest conversion hope it helps
